We began our May postcard writing action meeting hearing from guest speaker Joann Ginal, a Democratic candidate for Larimer County Treasurer, tell us why she should be elected to this position in the June 30 Democratic primary election. At the beginning of the June meeting we will hear from our guest Democrat Connor Duffy, who is also seeking the office of Larimer County Treasurer in the Democratic primary race, so he can make the case why he should be elected to this same position.
Following our guest speaker we will have an update on the Colorado legislative session that just ended. We will also discuss what we are feeling about the current political climate in our country, how we are coping, and, determine what good trouble we can get into. Please join us for these conversations!
Note: This meeting is being held on a Thursday, rather that our usual Tuesday, to accomodate the schedule of our guest speaker. Postcards to voters in swing states will be available to those wanting to write cards from home. |
